Job Summary and key responsibilities
The Head of Centre is a senior leadership role responsible for directing the operations, risk management, and administrative performance of the Lettings Support Centre. You will lead the team executing the core lettings pipeline, establish robust compliance frameworks across platforms like Reapit and Goodlord, and take ultimate accountability for regional landlord onboarding, AML, compliance, and licensing protocols. Including covering all audits and ensuring accuracy levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversight:
Lead and manage the tenancy onboarding team and move management team for the South division.
Risk& compliance:
Serve as the final escalation point and auditor for any audits completed on the team relating to compliance matters.
Process & Platform Optimization:
Drive absolute data accuracy and fee reconciliation alongside all compliance matters ensuring deadlines for move in’s are completed monthly.
Contract & Fee Integrity:
Authorise complex Terms of Business (TOB) / Letting Agreements (LA) and establish protocols to prevent risk and non compliance.
Statutory Compliance & Licensing:
Oversee operations and implement processes into all teams to ensure we meet all requirements.
Work with internal teams to ensure we are using and driving the best products.
Performance Reporting:
Deliver regular operational KPIs to the operations directors regarding compliance turnaround times, pipeline bottlenecks, and team resource allocation.
Including but not limited to reviewing processes frequently to ensure optimisation.
What are we looking for:
Proven Leadership:
Significant experience managing administrative, lettings, or operational teams within the property sector.
Advanced Compliance Expertise:
Knowledge of UK lettings legislation, AML regulations, and all matters relating to safety documents.
System:
Super-user capabilities in software, including all third-party applications.
Other:
Strong attention to detail.
Understand and remain close to the processes on the team.
Make suggestions for improvements.
Work with other HOC’s to ensure consistency across regions.
Build working relationships with the network.
Present regular updates and progress to the business.
Attend annual conferences.
Motivate and push the team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
